A selection of film scripts and short stories I am currently working on or have recently completed.
Stalker Film
A sci-fi film noir feature. A detective investigates the actions of a man who has been stalking a young woman. He soon stumbles into the machinations of a dark high-society organisation that does not take kindly to outsiders.
This is a feature script I am currently outlining.
I will put more information online when this is developed further.
Wales Feature
A man and a woman find themselves together in a small cottage in northern Wales. She is a wanderer exploring and testing her boundaries. He is a loner sheltering in tragic memories. Together they must help each other to regain the parts of themselves they have lost.
Exploring various aspects of folklore and mythology, this is a feature script I am currently developing.
I am working around a story with as few characters as possible, in a very specific location, and structured so that it may be filmed as low-budget as possible.
I will put more information online as this is fleshed out in greater detail.
The Toymaker
A man lives his life transforming a decaying empty plot in a future inner-city into a lush, productive garden. His idyllic world is shattered when he agrees to help a friend in need. By doing so, he begins re-learning his own history and must come to terms with and address his own past actions.
This is a graphic novel I am currently writing. It explores the nature of memories, memory suppression and the ethics of creating sentient life.
The Ravens
A strange three-part story about a man's sacrifice. This is story written over a long period of time while I have been living in London.
You can now read the unedited first drafts of the first part and second part of the story.
The third part of the story will be completed and put online here soon.
Sticks and Stones
Its a dark clear night outside as a man sits in his study feverishly writing a letter. Without warning, the roof falls in and an Angel rises from the rubble. She is hurt and needs his help. He agrees, but only if she will do something for him in return...
This is a script for a ten minute short film written and revised since early 2001.
It explores the grieving process, and what effects our emotions have on the world around us.
